normal When using manual proxy to a socks host for internet connection, firefox forcebly resorts to "default" connection if the socks port becomes available, screwing / getting fired the person who wanted to use the proxy.

Issue

I have another kind of problem with Firefox

Description

The point of having a proxy is so that firefox will use your proxy settings, and not use the regular internet connection.

FIREFOX IS BROWSING AT NORMAL WHEN THE PROXY IS UNAVAILABLE.

What it should do is not connect, and say "page not found" or anything like that. By having firefox ignore your setting, and force connect whenever it wants to, it could totally screw over the user.

THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP
