If there's a website that says that cookies are blocked, make sure you've checked:

  1. that you're not blocking the cookies and you've cleared them See Websites melden Cookies werden blockiert
  2. that you have cookies (and third party cookies) enabled See Cookies erlauben und ablehnen
  3. that you've disabled all extensions See Fehlerbehebung bei Erweiterungen und Themes AND
  4. that you've renamed your cookies.sqlite file. See Anmelden bei Websites nicht möglich

If you've done all of the above and you still have the error, there may be a problem with the site specifically. We can help by contacting the webmaster of the site and making sure that it's processing cookies correctly. Please let us know the full URL of the site below.

Face book applications. Applications I use regularly are saying they are blocked when they aren't it's only since your last update

Cww

Which applications?

It was Farm Town, Farmville, Yovile, Animal farm plus some others. I have downloaded Firefox again and so far it's working. It may have been a glitch when it updated??? Thank you for replying. I will let you know if I still have problems.

Thanks :)

Happening to all FB applications. I do not save history and yet it still does not work now if I clear cookies and reload it is a 50/50 shot that it loads an app. Which is odd since the only cookie that would be created would be the FB cookie. I also have disabled adblocker.

Since installing 3.5.3 Google preference cookies are no longer saved. The cookies options are not available in Tools->Options->Privacy, so I can't tell what the position is.

ALL facebook apps!!! Is there going to be a fix? This is a real pita!

Redirect Loop
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

* Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
* NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.

Well I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and still getting blocked apps on all FB...sigh...guess I'll go back to using IE. Until there is a fix...sucks

Phewww....I have spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out what I have done to my cookies.....I wish I had come here first....Facebook apps are not working for me either...Do these problems get sorted soon, or do we have to wait ages for a fix..I have only just started using firefox..

Janine, every once in a awhile I can get the facebook apps to work. I honestly don't know now if this is something to do with firefox or if it's an FB issue right now.

Having the same problems with FireFox and Facebook. I have tried 2 laptops with different Windows OS as well as one Apple computer. All have the same results as above. A 50/50 chance of using any applications in Facebook with the same error messages. Everything worked fine a few days ago and now every time I try I get an error message about inabilities to connect. "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete" Something is seriously messed up and it's terrible. I play games with friends online and now I can't get to them. :( Please fix this!

Ok having problems with http://ksolo.myspace.com/ page don't load get 400 bad request on firefox. but works on IE any help please..

MindJolt games applications on Facebook.

Please fix this. It's driving me absolultely crazy.

So disappointing that Firefox could introduce such a fundamental error that actually prevents you from going to certain websites.

for simple browsing i prefer firefox....while i have to mingle with cookies i switch to IE.each one is best for one purpose or another!!

NS:Spam removed (see tiki comment)

I also am having the same problems of FB when using the new version of firifox. Does anyone know how to restore to the older version of Firefox, that worked great!!!

Hi Kelly, What I did in the end was look through my downloads as I always save before installing a download and found an older version of firefox and installed that and have had no problems since. I keep getting a message that the new version is ready to install but won't do it. Make sure you change your settings to ask before installing. I am now running firefox 3.04 LOL but it is working so thats whats important to me.

I wish I still had it Shelley!!!! I can't find it anywhere but I did a disk clean-up 2 days ago and that wiped it away :-( here is my e-mail if you could send it to me that would be great!!!! kellytmu at comcast.net

no matter what i do, i cant play the apps cause of this stupid message, i can get to facebook, when i play any games it blocks me off, i have checked and gone through all the solutions here to no avail, major bummer

going back to IE

Passwords are no longer saved for Facebook, Yahoo, Wordpress. What a pain!!

I do not believe this is a problem with any of the websites so "help us fix sites" is wrong.

This is a bug in Firefox that has been introduced since the last release. Plain and simple. Things that worked before do not any longer and so many people are having the same problem.

Please. Fix. It. Now.

I cannot bear the thought of having to go back to IE but I can't see a way around this other than to do so.

The most recent update is also blocking my foxnews.com and espn.com sites. It loads the site but then wipes out the screen, and just returns a blank page. Checked it against IE which works fine. I didnt change any settings.
