Suddenly every ebay auctions say reported web forgery?
I have no idea why this suddenly started happening.. every auction on ebay has a box saying "reported web forgery" it does not allow me to read auction details or see pics but all regular ebay graphics show fine. when i click to ignore the message it pops up a box "get me out of here" or "this isn't a web forgery" after clicking "this isn't a web forgery" I get a new browser to report it to mozilla but i still can not view auction info? This is very annoying. and after years of Mozilla use I am almost ready to go back to IE.

Is this a glitch in firefox that they can sort out?
This is extremely annoying! I have items for sale and you're killing me. I can't even read my own descriptions. If this isn't fixed really soon, I am going to have to shift to a different browser. I really like Firefox, and I am willing to extend some grace - but this is an URGENT matter.
Happened to me to - until Mozilla gets this figured out, you can do this:
Tools > Options > Security > Unclick "Block reported web forgeries"
WTF THIS SUCKS this is how I pay my bills AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH cunt see mah auctions
I click tools and there is no "options" option : ( Nevermind figured it out through a different route- Im using Linux so... : ) I just made exception for Ebay - but screw this I knew I shouldn't have downloaded the updated Firefox...NEVER again lol

No "Options" under Tools?? Sorry - it's the last choice in my version of Firefox.
I just did it. It is in the "Tools" dropdown list. "Options" is 10th on the list.
Try again.

Thanks for this suggestion. I did it and it worked. :-) I hope this problem is fixed really soon. It is going to destroy sales on eBay if it continues.
I have an old version of Firefox and it happened to me to so I don't think it is a version issue - just something odd they did and will likely - hopefully - undo!

yes thanks - and yes they need to fix it ASAP for us sellers on Ebay : ( for Linux users click Edit > Preferences > un click "block reported web forgeries" or make an exception
yeah same thing for me guys I wonder what the heck is going on? the only thing *I* did new today was update my Flash program for my machines only because when in 'Facebook' it was requiring me to do so to post like 'youtube' videos on my profile........but yeah....not sure if that has anything to do with any of this of course......but yep, that's the only thing I've done 'differently' today, as far as computer operation goes. I wonder what is causing this?
in ol' 'internet explorer' it works fine of course so there's obviously something going with with good ol' freakin firefox here.........I guess I can disable those function like you guys said.....but it just kind of sucks when you are actually a 'SELLER' on eBay, as I am :) ...so if this is just a universal problem that has just started recently, then about half of the shoppers will be immediately turned away! hahaha .....not good mozilla! what's up!?..........
ok....I think it actually may be working now.........hmmm.........wth??? :) mpfhh.....I swear........technology..............I hate it as much as I love it.....gurhhh :)
Yup - all seems fixed now!
lol ha guess I should undo my exception for Ebay then just in case somebody hacks them in the future....
We get the list of sites to mark as web forgery from Google (Look up google safe browsing) every few hours so if you see issues like this again, you'll have to check with them:
http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=ebay.com
Looks like a bunch of reports came in and triggered a block.
